Kick Off the 2025 Shooting Season with “The Best of the West”

Team Ultradot’s very own Tony Silva is hosting one of the premier shooting events of the year: The Best of the West – Desert Midwinter Championship, sponsored by the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club Pistol Division. This highly anticipated competition is set to take place from February 11-16, 2025, and promises to be a week of exceptional shooting, camaraderie, and top-tier prizes.

Event Highlights
Here are some of the key features of the championship:

• 🏆 EIC Matches: Test your skills in .22 Rimfire EIC, Service Pistol EIC, and Distinguished Revolver.
• 🎯 International Matches: Compete in Free Pistol, Standard Pistol, and Air Pistol events.
• 🔥 Gun Giveaways: Guns will be awarded to the top shooters in each classification, with clear guidelines to ensure fair competition.
• 🛠️ Practice & Testing: A dedicated pistol bay will be available all week for function testing and gun work.
• 🏕️ On-Site Camping: Enjoy free on-site camping with limited electrical hookups (with approval).
• 🍴 Lunch Available: Stay fueled with lunch provided for a small donation each day.

Match Schedule
The full match schedule spans six days, with events ranging from EIC matches on Tuesday to the NRA 2700 Match over the weekend, concluding with an awards ceremony and prize table on Sunday, February 16.

How to Register
Registration is limited to 80 shooters, so don’t wait to secure your spot!

• Mail-In Registration: Send your SR-1 form and payment to Mike Yates.

On-site registration is possible if space allows, but pre-registration is highly encouraged.
