Ultradot was proud to support the 2024 Annual Ed Williams Memorial West Virginia State Precision Pistol Championships, hosted at the White Horse Center’s Brassmasters’ Pistol Range. This event, held on September 28th and 29th, brought together some of the most skilled shooters in the region, all competing in various categories, including .22 Rimfire, Service Pistol, and Service Revolver EIC matches.
Jamie Ice of Lumberport, West Virginia, emerged as the lucky winner of the Ultradot optic, awarded through a unique raffle drawing. The Brassmasters’ officers carefully crafted the giveaway to ensure fairness. Since some competitors “shoot through” on Saturday, completing the entire two-day tournament in one day due to travel constraints, the decision was made to hold the drawing at the end of Saturday’s competition. This way, all competitors—whether shooting one or both days—had an equal chance to win. Only competitors were eligible, ensuring that the prize would go to someone who would truly appreciate and utilize the sight.
The Ultradot optic drew considerable attention, becoming the highlight of the raffle. Jim Pennington, a key organizer, shared that the chance to win the Ultradot “took center stage,” despite other generous contributions from sponsors. Competitors also snatched up the discount coupons we provided, with many expressing interest in trying out Ultradot products for their future matches.
Events like these are at the heart of why we continue to support the shooting community. We are honored to have contributed to the success of this prestigious championship and are thrilled that our product is now in the capable hands of an active competitor.
A huge thank you to Brassmasters’ officers for organizing such a well-run event and to all the participants who made this year’s championship so memorable. We look forward to supporting similar events in the future and seeing Ultradot optics in action across the country.
