87 Years Strong: Ultradot Joins in Celebrating Shooting Tradition

On May 16, 2025, the Metropolitan Revolver League of Hartford celebrated their 87th Annual Banquet — and Ultradot was proud to be part of it.

This year’s banquet was their most successful yet, with nearly 200 participants, representing an almost 90% increase in attendance. Thanks to strong community support, including Ultradot’s sponsorship, the League raised approximately $4,500 in prize earnings to fund competitions, activities, and community-building efforts.

The Metropolitan Revolver League is the oldest and largest of its kind in the country, with more than 2,700 active members across seven ranges and clubs, collectively firing over 111,000 rounds last season. It was an honor for Ultradot to help fuel this level of dedication and enthusiasm in the shooting sports.

A Personal Connection

Our sponsorship wasn’t just about donating prizes — it was about strengthening ties within the community. In the weeks leading up to the banquet, we exchanged notes with Joe D’Aleo, Vice President of the League, whose enthusiasm and kind words meant so much:

Joe also followed through on his promise to share a write-up and photos from the event, and later sent a thoughtful thank-you package, including a framed banquet photo signed by attendees. Even better, we had the chance to meet Joe in person at Camp Perry this summer — a highlight that turned this partnership into a friendship.

 

Celebrating Excellence

One highlight of the banquet was the Ultradot Matchdot prize, which went to Team Manchester’s Bob Sturgis. This prize represents Ultradot’s commitment to supporting competitive shooters and helping them pursue excellence year after year.
